I knew Common Bond was good from prior experience but I really wanted to shout out Hugo for his exceptional customer service! He was so patient while the person I brought was new and looking through all that they had to offer. He explained everything with ease, gave suggestions, and was extremely helpful! He's definitely an added charm to this establishment!
I came to the Common Bond with my friend, and it was a bonding experience! The vibes are delightful- a little chilly, but that’s nothing a hot drink can’t fix. The coffee was really good; and while I didn’t get any food, they have a variety of delightful looking pastries. The servers are patient, talkative, and hard-working.
I have come to common bond multiple times, and I recommend everything on their menu. I particularly like their brunch/breakfast (before 11) more than their lunch, but both are amazing. I tried the steak and onion sandwich for the first time the other day and it was amazing. The meat was tender, and it was just well-made and full of flavor. Usually my go-to is the soft scramble for breakfast, and it never disappoints. Overall, this is a great coffee shop!!

We tried the **Kouign-Amann** and **Cranberry Orange Scone**—both were absolutely amazing! The Kouign-Amann was buttery, flaky, and perfectly caramelized, while the scone had the ideal balance of tart cranberry and zesty orange. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service from Ms. Ariam and the team truly stood out. Can’t wait to come back and try more treats! Highly recommend this place.
The pastries are amazing. Had a fruit tart and some Macarons to go, definitely some of the best I have ever had. Dine in, I had the breakfast tacos and they were great as well. Really good to have such a fine bakery/bistro option in the area.
I had stopped by to this place for lunch, and the quality of food and service did not disappoint! They had quite a great selection of pastries on display—I had to get one of their cake pops. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was very good and of a really great quality with the size of the chicken and fresh ingredients. The lady moving around the dining area did an amazing job providing excellent service to me and other diners. I would come back if I’m ever around!
Wow, this place succeeded my expectations! It’s not too often that you find a regular looking spot that does bakery so well! The two items that we got were amazing. However, I did like the kouign amann that we ordered a little bit more than the berry one due to the amount of filling inside. The textures for both pictures that we got were amazing, I would eat it with no flavor whatsoever whether it’ll be cold or hot. It’s hard to find a place like this. I’m glad that I tried it and I highly recommend it won’t be coming back in the future especially them having 50% off of their selected pastries one hour before closing!
Would recommend and love to come again! I came for breakfast at around 9:30 (and another time around 10:30 am) during a weekend - not crowded. The shakshuka crossiant is a special dish: a bowl-shaped crossiant, with a running egg and tomato-based sause inside. Very tasty even for me who is not a fan of tomato-flavored dishes. It's like a pasta but with crossiant instead. The bottom of the crossiant won't be crispy because of the gravy inside, but it still tastes well with its buttery flavor. The egg benedict is so flavorful and delicious. It has the creamy milky flavor but not overwhelming. Kouign Amann is crispy and reasonable in sweetness. Matcha latte is great - there is a bit of sweetness instead of a strongly bitter matcha flavor, but the sweetness is not strong and just right.
Francisco is the best barista around! Great coffee, exceptional service and always friendly. The latte in the picture was made by him; and it was excellent! This is one of my fav coffee shops in town, and I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about this location. Service was fast and friendly, the pastry and baked goods selection was beyond plentiful and the menu has something for everyone. We stopped in for lunch on Saturday and had a hard time choosing (everything sounded and looked so good) but ended up with a chicken Bahn mi salad which was hands down one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had and my husband got the Texas Club and had zero regrets. He loved the sourdough bread it came on and despite the generous portion size finished every last bite but of course saved room for our iced lemon cookie. If you love lemon say yes to this lemon heaven treat. The vibe was lovely, the atmosphere was full of lots of natural light and nice decor and just enough tables for their high turnover. Can’t wait to go back to explore the menu and pastry case even more.
